Privacy policy

My Design Nexus operates NEXDO and is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules.

What we store

• The email address you sign up with, and your display name and avatar if you add one.
• The tasks, projects, notes, focus sessions, transactions, budgets, loans and receipts you create.
• Your display, notification and offline preferences.
• Subscription records: plan, status, renewal date, amount, and the Razorpay subscription and payment identifiers needed for invoices and refunds.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS compliant payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. Card numbers, UPI IDs, bank credentials and OTPs are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by us. We only receive the payment status, amount and reference identifiers.

Why we store it

To run the features you use, to keep your data in sync across devices, to send reminders you asked for, to provide subscription access and invoices, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Security

Every record is scoped to your account with row-level security, so no other user can read or modify it. Receipts and avatars live in private storage folders keyed to your user ID, and data is encrypted in transit.

Retention

Your content is kept while your account exists and is removed when you delete the account. Payment and invoice records are retained for the period required by Indian tax law, even after the account is deleted.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Data, or by writing to grievance@mydesignnexus.in. Verified requests are actioned within 30 days. Complaints can be raised with our grievance officer, listed on the contact page.
